Chief Executive Officer

Mo RiGesefal

Energy systems research, technical analytics, and program delivery

Mo leads MSA's consulting and research support practice. His technical work centers on energy-efficiency sensing and technical systems. His individual proposal work has contributed to more than $1 million in awarded federal research funding, including Department of Energy work.

Within the firm he owns strategy, business development, client relationships, contract negotiation, and delivery of technical and analytics engagements.

Nuru Jangbu Sherpa

Finance, accounting, and financial operations

Nuru leads MSA's finance and accounting practice, with finance, accounting, and operations experience at Fenwick & West LLP, an Am Law 100 law firm.

Within the firm he owns bookkeeping and accounting operations, financial reporting and analysis, reconciliation standards, and internal controls.

Who we are

A deliberately small firm

MSA — Mo Sherpa Associates — was formed in 2026 in Washington State and is member-managed by its two principals.

The firm brings together disciplines that often have to work in close coordination: research, technical analysis, financial operations, and documentation. We keep the scope, the decisions, and the delivery connected.

Founded in 2026, MSA builds on its principals’ individual experience. Each engagement starts with a defined scope, written commitments about what arrives and when, and direct access to the people doing the work.

Principal-level delivery

The person who scoped your engagement performs it. There is no layer between you and the work.

Written scope and fixed fees

You approve the deliverables, cadence, and price before work starts. Changes are raised before they become surprises.

Documented, portable work

Every reported figure is supported by something you can open, follow, and hand to a third party.

Clear boundaries and confidentiality

We decline work outside our competence, protect client information, and never name a client without written permission.

Scope of practice

Mo Sherpa Associates (“MSA”) provides non-attest professional services only. The firm is not a licensed CPA firm and does not perform audits, reviews, compilations, or any engagement resulting in an assurance opinion. Where an engagement requires attest work, we coordinate with the client's CPA and prepare the records and schedules that engagement requires.
